The Time Fellowship
The Time Initiative Fellowship is a one-of-a-kind fellowship program focused on finding the brightest and most ambitious people committed to creating a world with less age-related disease.
This program will serve as a talent accelerator of the field’s next leaders to imagine what’s possible, seed deep connections with peers and mentors, and drive the field of aging biology. We want to help you grow as a person and a future leader.

Fellows are invited to apply for a select number of $8,000 grants to conduct a 2024 summer project, which could include an internship in industry, work in a research lab, or an independent project!

We are looking for undergraduate-level students with diverse interests and goals. Do you want to run your own lab, become an entrepreneur, science communicator, or a policy maker? Students from all disciplines are eligible to apply. The Time Fellowship is geared towards individuals not yet enrolled in graduate level studies. Individuals enrolled in post-baccalaureate programs and Bachelor's-Master's dual degree programs are eligible to apply. The fellowship is open to all, regardless of citizenship status.

As a Time Fellow, you are expected to actively participate in the fellowship community. This includes:
1-3 hours per week dedicated to:
Attending virtual events and discussions
Engaging in community-building activities
Participating in mentorship sessions
Your commitment is essential to fostering a collaborative environment where all fellows can learn, grow, and contribute to the field of aging biology. This program is designed to be flexible around your schedule, while offering valuable opportunities for growth and connection.

As a Time Fellow, you’ll have access to a wide range of engaging virtual events designed to expand your understanding of aging biology and it potential impact. Our Time Talks series, for example, brings in thought leaders from across the field to give you an expansive view of opportunities in research, venture capital, biotech, ethics, and policy.
Some of our past guest speakers include:
Laura Deming – Founder of the Longevity Fund, Age1, CEO of Cradle, who shared insights on venture capital in the longevity space and how to fund and create breakthrough research.
Nir Barzilai – director of the Institute for Aging Research, Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein), director the Longevity Genes Project, TAME trial, discussing the science of aging and the remarkable health of centenarians.
Celine Halioua – CEO of Loyal, providing a firsthand account of what it takes to create a successful biotech company focused on extending healthspan.
Raiany Romanni – Explored the ethical implications of aging interventions and their potential economic impact.
Dylan Livingston – Policy expert from the Alliance for Longevity Initiatives, highlighting the intersection of aging biology and policy-making.
Our goal is to provide you with a diverse and holistic view of the aging biology field, while connecting you with pioneers who are shaping its future. Expect to learn, engage, and be inspired at every event!
